Brandy Torres:

 

I am a 3D generalist who excels at giving concepts a life of their own though the art of design, modeling, rigging, animating, lighting and texturing.

 

As a veteran of the military, serving in Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom (OEF/OIF), I have developed a very strong work ethic and discipline.  My career in the military as a mechanic has allowed me deconstruct objects more effectively in a 3D environment.  I am constantly looking to improve my work, as well as gain constructive critique from my peers.  I take direction well, but I also incorporate my own ideas and flair on projects.

 

I have always had a unique perspective on art, drawing inspiration from previous eras such as the ‘40-‘50’s and the ‘80’s.  These traits have helped to move and mold me into a versatile artist, and this appreciation sets me apart from others.  With this knowledge I conceptualize work from paper into 3D, and even into something physically tangible that you can hold, such as SFX Makeup and prop creation. 

 

Since I was a young child I have always had the urge to create, it has since saturated each aspect of my life and has led me down the path to animation.
